Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Electrician Helper to join our team! The Electrician Helper must be willing to deploy on long-term assignment to Kwajalein Island, Marshall Islands. This position is not a remote support opportunity.

What You'll Be Doing:

Supply Electrician with materials & tools.Measure & cut pipe conduit to specified length.Thread conduit ends, connect couplings & conduit fittings.Secure brackets; pull wire through conduct leading to connection boxes, switch panels & other terminals.Instill and repair electrical equipment and light fixturesTool maintenance and upkeepAssisting with troubleshooting electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, motors, panels, and circuit.Tracing out short circuits in wiring, using test meterKeeping a clan work area, disposing of any garbage or discarded materials and sweeping work area when work is completedPulling apart pallets and bringing supplies to electricians.

Skills and Qualifications:

Must have a valid Class driver’s license.Must be able to effectively follow and give directions.Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:OSHA Safety 30-Hour Certification or able to obtain.1 - 2 years overall experience minimum with at least 2 years in the field or similar.High School Diploma or GED.Vocational Diploma/Certification of Completion a plus

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to overhead position.Must be able to push and pull up to 50 pounds.Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.Able to work dayshift or nightshift.Exposure to working outdoors in all-weather condition.Ability to Relocate: Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands.Must wear appropriate PPE when performing tasks.Wear long pants, shirt that covers the shoulders by six (6) inches, and steel toe work boots, including prescription safety glasses. These are not provided by Parsons.Ability to speak and read English.
