**Description** The Journeyman E/I will: • Maintain electrical distribution equipment and components • Troubleshoot and replace drives and inverters • Troubleshoot motors, PLC’s, and field instruments such as flowmeters, pressure transmitters, level transmitters, solenoids, and switches • Make preventative care rounds and lubricate a limited number of motors • Work with the shift millwright and operators to change motors, valves, etc. as needed • Troubleshoot and repair valves • Work with remote support to troubleshoot drives • Read and interpret PLC logic to help diagnose issues/troubleshoot problems • Tune control loops as needed • Record work results in written log and a computerized maintenance system • Work as part of a team and find solutions to issues and problems • Work safely and help others stay safe • Be able to assist in troubleshooting hydraulics • Communicate on radios and phones as needed to make repairs • Support a safe working environment by maintaining strict adherence to safety rules and regulations and wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules • Performs other duties as required **Skills** Troubleshooting, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, paper processing **Top Skills Details** Troubleshooting,Electrical,Instrumentation **Additional Skills & Qualifications** • Journeyman or proof of completion of related college or apprenticeship program required • 5+ years of Instrumentation and Electrical experience in a production maintenance environment. Equivalent military experience will be considered • Strong Electrical and Mechanical aptitude require • Basic understanding and capable of troubleshoot/repair Siemens Programable Logic Controllers, SCADA, Ignition, and Siemens drives is strongly preferred • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mill wide electrical power systems, working with single phase and 3-phase AC VAC 120/240, and 480 and working with DC voltages ranging from 12, 24 and 500 VDC • Computer skills including MS Office and ability to quickly learn new software used in the department • Experience with variable frequency drives and field instruments (i.e., pressure, flow, temperature, level and analytical transmitters, valve positioners, valve actuators and PID controllers) is necessary • Ability to read and understand Electrical and Instrumentation Drawings and PLC Ladder Logic • An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery including motors, solenoids, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls, and power transmission systems • A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems • Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and instrumentation drawings. • Must be fully computer literate with Microsoft environment • Good written and verbal communication skill • Capable of meeting physical requirements to include working weekends/holidays, of working a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and overtime as needed, work around heat, noise, both inside and outside • Applicable military experience/training will be considered. • Perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to 12 hours/day in a loud/noisy, hot, humid, sometimes dusty, and a high-volume work environment. **Experience Level** Intermediate Level **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $66560.00/yr.
