Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail‑oriented Electrical Technician to join our team and support the building, wiring, and testing of industrial electrical equipment. This hands‑on role involves assembling control cabinets, wiring automated machinery, and ensuring equipment meets safety and performance standards. Ideal candidates include experienced technicians as well as recent graduates eager to grow their skills in an industrial environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstall power supply wiring, conduit, and unistrut for new and rebuilt machinery.Assemble, square, and align bases, cabinet frames, and structural components.Connect power supply wiring, cables, and electrical components between machines.Lay out and perform electrical installations using schematics and wiring diagrams.Drill and tap mounting holes for control units and electrical devices.Mount electrical components using bolts, screws, and hardware.Cut, strip, bend, and route wire, cable, conduit, and tubing.Connect color‑coded wiring, including in tight/compact spaces using mirrors.Solder connections and crimp wire ends as needed.Test, troubleshoot, and adjust electrical assemblies.Program automated machinery and diagnose malfunctions to confirm repairs.What We’re Looking ForAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.Hands‑on experience with electrical wiring, conduit, and panel wiring.Comfortable installing, pulling, and routing wire.Associate degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering preferred.Nice to Have5+ years of electrical or industrial experience (recent grads encouraged).Experience in production or manufacturing environments.Familiarity with instrumentation or data acquisition systems.Experience with blueprints, hand tools, power tools, mechanical assembly, or conduit bending.Why You’ll Want to Work HereComprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.401(k) with company match up to 6% after 60 days.Paid vacation: starting at 10 days, increasing annually up to 25 days.PTO, floating holidays, and 8 paid holidays each year.Stable first-shift hours for strong work‑life balance.Work EnvironmentWork in a well‑lit, historic building . Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
