As a member of our Engineering Hub, you will work across three hotels in Sydney CBD including Hyatt Regency Sydney, Swissôtel Sydney and West Hotel Sydney Curio Collection by Hilton.

The Role:
Working under the direction of the Hub leaders, you will be responsible for the day-to-day electrical operations and maintenance of all three respective hotels. As instructed, you will attend to all required repairs ranging from guest requests, commercial kitchen equipment and other hotel power and lighting outlets. You will perform regulated inspections to thoroughly check equipment conditions and carry out required statutory testing. You will conduct your work with the highest level of professionalism, whilst executing your duties that align with industry standards and remaining compliancy in accordance to government authorities.

Our ideal candidate will possess:

· Certificate III in Electro-technology Electrician or equivalent and Contractor/Supervisor license in New South Wales

· Demonstrated experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repairs

· Up-to-date industry knowledge, including changes in advances in electrical systems and methods

· Dedicated work ethic, with an eye for detail and accuracy

· Competency in working both collaboratively and independently

· Ability to problem solve and trouble shoot effectively

· Excellent communication skills, including providing direction and guidance to maintenance contractors

· Commitment to workplace safety – including maintaining tool performance and a clean working environment

· Full working rights in Australia, with flexible availability to work on weekends where required
