Division: Within the Maintenance Department at ELMHS, Located in Jackson, LA ELMHS is looking for a motivated individual to join the Maintenance department as an Electrician with knowledge in the installation and maintenance of wiring systems, switches, receptacles, and lighting. Minimum Qualifications Two years of experience or training in the electrical trade. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: In this role, you will: + Install, troubleshoot, and perform maintenance of wiring systems, switches, receptacles and lighting. + Assist in the rewiring of staff residences, run’s additional circuits when necessary. + Pull electrical wire, runs conduit, installs ceiling fans, range vent hoods, restroom exhaust fans. + Install generators and transformers and transfer switches. + Perform preventive maintenance rounds on all buildings checking for loose wires, checking receptacles for tension and condition to ensure proper function. + Check electrical cord outlet devices. + Maintain records on lock out tag out. + Maintain a valid, unencumbered driver’s license.
