**Job Overview:** Installs, adjusts, modifies, verifies, calibrates, and tests operation of power systems, specialized electrical systems and panels, circuitry, electrical chassis, appliances, portable electrical equipment in accordance with all state and federal electrical codes and ordinances. Able to work from verbal instructions, blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, technical publications, and instructions bulletins. **Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:** + Performs preventative maintenance on electrical panels and distribution systems. + Performs corrective repairs on commercial buildings. + Ability to identify location of required parts and materials. + Knowledgeable in all standard operation procedures within the division and work instructions. + Must be able to accurately track time, work orders, and parts using electronic devices. + Participate in employee enhancement programs. + Housekeeping-cleaning office and shop areas. **Basic Qualifications:** + Must possess high school diploma or equivalent. + Must have at least 3 years of experience being an Electrician + Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. + Demonstrated capability to perform maintenance and repairs to electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings. CBAs for union projects typically include a retirement plan (such as a pension, annuity, or 401(k)), health insurance (e.g., medical, dental, vision), and other benefits. APTIM pays the costs for some fringe benefit plans for employees working on union projects. Under some CBAs, however, you may be required to contribute a percentage of your wages toward the cost of these benefits.
