Job Description
We are seeking a skilled electrician to join our team and contribute to new construction projects in the greater Nashville area. This role involves executing plans for electrical wiring, installing electrical devices, and troubleshooting systems to ensure optimal functionality.
ResponsibilitiesInterpret and work from blueprints to execute electrical wiring plans for lighting, intercom, and other electrical systems.Install electrical devices and fixtures such as switches, circuit-breaker panels, fire alarm systems, plugs, and lighting.Pull and install wire for various electrical systems.Bend and install conduit, including EMT and rigid conduit.Troubleshoot, inspect, install, and replace electrical wires and systems.Essential SkillsMinimum of 4 years of commercial electrical experience.Proficiency in reading blueprints.Experience in bending and installing EMT conduit.Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and electrical theory.Journeyman certification.OSHA 10 certification.Competency in troubleshooting electrical systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsJourneyman card is a plus.CPR and First Aid training are preferred.Experience with rigid conduit is advantageous.Diploma or GED required.Valid driver's license.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The role involves working on new construction projects, including a police training facility near John C Tune Airport. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, first shift, starting between 6:00 am and 7:00 am, typically for 8-hour days. Be prepared for potential overtime during the week and Saturday work.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
