**Industrial Electrician Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining the safety, productivity, and quality of our facility by implementing, upgrading, troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and installing control systems.
**Responsibilities**
+ Follow all safety procedures according to company, state, and federal regulations (NFPA70E, OSHA, etc.).
+ Implement, upgrade, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install control systems to improve safety, productivity, and quality.
+ Read, edit, and create PLC Ladder Logic as it relates to the operation and modification of production equipment.
+ Maintain the entire plant's production equipment electrical systems and install new electrical devices and controls independently.
+ Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections of all control systems.
+ Maintain backup documentation for the settings on all pieces of equipment within the facility.
+ Communicate with operators to assist with solutions or repair of electrical problems.
+ Understand all mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems of the equipment.
+ Participate in the creation and implementation of training programs for maintenance employees or operators.
+ Weld, burn, and cut materials as needed.
+ Perform necessary machinery mechanical modifications and upgrades.
+ Gather information for new and existing equipment.
+ Assist in maintaining stable inventory levels.
+ Collaborate with vendors and consultants to troubleshoot and repair electrical and control-related issues.
+ Perform MIG and Stick welding for plant machinery repairs.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5 years of industrial electrician maintenance experience.
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (50/50 or higher on the electrical side).
+ Experience with 480, AC/DC, 110v, 220v, and 480v.
+ Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
+ Ownership of personal tools.
+ Basic welding skills (MIG or stick preferred).
+ PLC troubleshooting experience.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience repairing cranes.
+ Experience working on conveyors, stamping presses, reduction mills, slitters, and presses.
+ PLC programming experience.

**Work Environment**
This role is within a union shop offering contract-to-hire or direct hire opportunities. The shift is 3rd and the work environment is a clean, well-lit facility that can be noisy due to stamping presses, with a heavy industrial steel environment. There are approximately 120 employees working in this supportive and collaborative environment.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Ohio.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $34.00/hr.
