**Job Title: Electrician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled and experienced electrician to join our team for a hospital expansion project. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. This role requires the candidate to be open to traveling to various locations within Middle Tennessee. **Responsibilities** + Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, conduit, lighting, and control systems in industrial and commercial environments. + Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. + Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems. + Troubleshoot electrical issues, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions. + Collaborate with team members and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget. + Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations. + Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and maintenance logs. + Follow safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment. + Use hand and power tools to perform tasks. **Essential Skills** + Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and code requirements. + Proficient in using electrical testing equipment and hand tools. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings. + Electrical skills including conduit bending, wiring, and troubleshooting. + Proficiency in blueprint reading and installation techniques. **Why Work Here?** We offer excellent pay based on experience and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, retirement program, paid vacation days, paid holidays, and a 100% paid apprenticeship program. Start time is typically between 6-7 AM, with 8-10 hour workdays. Projects can last from 3 months to 1 year, with the possibility of being moved around. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hendersonville, Tennessee. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
