Hourly Rate: $40.99 an hour + $$1.00 shift differential

Responsibilities

Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning electrical systems in an industrial/manufacturing environmentInterpret and create electrical drawings & schematicsInstall electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipmentInstall safety and distribution components: switches, resistors, circuit break panels, etcConnect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of componentsPrepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through conduitsPrevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulate cables, cleaning circuits, etc.Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units.Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs electronic tests and inspections, cleaning contacts or circuit boards, ensuring that systems are grounded.Perform mechanic skills focus on electrical, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facility.Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Be responsible for executing all required quality processes and documentationParticipate in Continuous Improvement initiatives in order to increase platform performanceAssists in training new employeesAttend meetings and trainings as requiredPerform additional related tasks as assignedUnderstands Controls Logic and how to troubleshootExperience with Allen Bradley hardware & softwareUnderstands and able to troubleshoot Industrial automation controls

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalentMust be able to effectively communicate and interpret work instructions and safety rulesAbility to pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug test.Repetitive arm and hand motions during working shiftAble to stand on feet continuously during working shiftAble to lift 40 pounds consistentlyMust be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfacesWilling and able to work any shift schedule, including nights and weekendsWilling and able to adhere to all safety standards and wear all necessary personal protective equipmentWilling and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environment
