**Electrical Testing Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a Testing Technician to perform routine and special tests on various products, including transformers, power metering products, distribution units, and other integrated systems. The ideal candidate will assist in the assembly of products according to specifications by following blueprints and schematics. You will interpret standard documentation and apply it to custom appliances, assemble mechanical components, and recommend improvements in products, processes, and practices. Adhering to Health and Safety procedures and ISO 9001 policies is essential. **Responsibilities** + Perform routine and special tests on products such as transformers, power metering products, and distribution units. + Assist in the assembly of products to specifications by following blueprints and schematics. + Interpret standard documentation and apply it to custom appliances. + Assemble mechanical components, including fitting and aligning. + Recommend improvements in products, processes, and practices. + Work in a safe manner in accordance with Health and Safety procedures. + Adhere to all ISO 9001 policies and procedures. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical testing. + Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components. + Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and tools. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. + Strong communication and teamwork skills. + Relevant certification or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Licensed industrial electricians are eligible. + Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Electro-mechanical from a community college or equivalent is a strong asset. **Why Work Here?** We offer medical and dental benefits upon permanent employment. Teamwork is essential as you will work in close quarters with others.
