Please use the following link to learn more about our US Controls and Avionics business:Controls & Avionics Solutions (https://www.baesystems.com/en-us/who-we-are/electronic-systems/controls-and-avionics-solutions) **_As an Electrical Test Engineer position supporting our Aftermarket Teams on 3rd shift you will make impacts in the following ways;_** + Troubleshoot Circuit Card Assemblies at both a unit and circuit card assembly level, looking at failed circuits, isolating the fault down to a component level, and then dispositioning the repair procedures + Assist in the investigation of root cause of product performance and failures. + Perform detailed test planning and associated test implementation activities including final product review documentation. + Assist in executing test plans and priorities on the test floor. + Support our manufacturing floor as needed to ensure that product continues to move through the process and play a vital part of instilling our company s value of maintaining a lean culture. While seeking out continuous improvement opportunities. **Addiitional Information** + This is a 3rd shift position with flexible start times ranging from 8;00pm to 12:00am + A shift differential of 10 % of salary will be offered for working 3rd shift schedule + Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology (EET), Electrical Engineering (EE), and 2 or more years related work experience + Electronics component troubleshooting and instrument familiarity (analog and/or digital) + Proficiency and experience with analog and/or digital electronics and embedded systems + Capable of using standard electrical lab and test equipment + Required to enter FAA mandated Anti-Drug Pool. Subject to random drug testing. + General understanding of electronics manufacturing process + Ability to interpret technical specifications + Strong communication and interpersonal skills **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Bachelor s Degree in EET, ECET or EE, or equivalent technical degree program, and some work experience. + Lean Manufacturing experience + Demonstrated ability in isolating electrical failures to root cause + Demonstrated ability to coordinate and organize multiple activities in a team environment + Advanced-level technical skills, knowledge of technical requirements, and system flows skills relevant to job/area of work **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $64935 - $110390 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
