Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Controls Technician to join our team in installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems for renewable energy solutions. This role requires a keen attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and a willingness to collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure the success of our installations.
ResponsibilitiesInstall, test, and maintain electrical systems and components for renewable energy solutions.Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics.Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure timely and accurate installations.Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on-site.Document work performed and maintain accurate records.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree in electrical technology preferred.Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical installation or related field.Valid Florida Electrical License or ability to obtain one.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.Willingness to travel locally to installation sites.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with solar, battery storage, or other renewable energy systems is a plus.Skills in electrical schematics, troubleshooting, wiring, actuators, heater wiring, electrical panel, PLC, energy, and battery storage.Work Environment
This position involves working onsite or in the field as part of a team dedicated to manufacturing a one-of-a-kind solar energy system. You will be part of a dynamic environment that values innovation and collaboration.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
