Electrical Supervisor
Air Swift
Airswift is looking for an Electrical Supervisor (Offshore) to work on an outsourced contract (1 year) in Guyana with an Oil and Gas company.
The Electrical Supervisor will demonstrate exemplary safety and supervisory skills in all matters pertaining to the vessel's electrical maintenance. They are responsible for ensuring their subordinates are competent to perform assigned tasks and for confirming and clarifying the status of electrical personnel (whether CEP, LAEP, or LEP).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Comply with relevant authorization procedures, safe work practices, and specific instructions.
Complete maintenance within the agreed timeframe, using safe and appropriate methods and agreed procedures.
Ensure that resources and spare parts are planned and used in a cost-effective manner.
Ensure that any assets that have undergone maintenance or had parameters adjusted are still in compliance with specified operational requirements, with minimal disruption and using specified methods, tools, and materials.
Accurately monitor and record any maintenance or adjustment in the MMS work history.
Properly use monitoring equipment or procedures to assess the condition of electrical assets.
Ensure that monitoring and verifications are performed according to the deadlines and schedules specified by the MMS.
Accurately and promptly record and communicate monitored results to increase the effectiveness of the CMMS.
Select appropriate diagnostic tests and procedures and apply them methodically.
Clarify the nature of problems with electrical assets.
Determine the cause and extent of problems in the performance and condition of electrical systems or assets.
Use the inspection results to determine appropriate actions to be taken.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum qualification of HNC/HND or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent recognized in Electrical Maintenance Engineering.
Offshore experience
Experience as a Supervisor with prior experience in an Authorized Senior Supervisor role.
Excellent practical knowledge of PTW (Permit to Work), Electrical Insulation Standards, Risk Assessment, Energy Management System and Low Voltage Generation.
COMP-EX certification.
Desirable courses: High Voltage Protection Relays and HVLV Switching (High, Low and Medium Voltage).
Proficiency in English
Offshore - Either 4 weeks on/ 4 weeks off, or 5 weeks on/ 5 weeks off.
