The opportunity
Reporting to the Area Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the electrical team delivering the No.6 Blast Furnace Reline Project success. You’ll bring a strong commitment to safety, a passion for leadership, and the skills to keep the project on track, meeting client expectations around time, quality, and budget.
The is a fulltime permanent role and will be based out of Spring Hill in Wollongong with a requirement to attend site so TOTV (Tool of trade vehicle) will be provided.
What you’ll do
Site Leadership and set the standard for safety and performance on site
Assist the Area Manager with daily operations and project delivery
Monitor project progress and report on hours, scope, and schedule
Maintain detailed records of work-in-progress and project communications
Complete daily and weekly project reports via Downer and customer reporting programs
Participate in weekly project planning, reviews, and audits
Assist with monthly financial reporting and invoicing

What we’re looking for
Tertiary qualifications in a construction or related field.
Minimum 3 years experience in a Supervisory role (Heavy Industrial experience preferred)
C Class Drivers Licence, White Card, Confined Space & Working at Heights tickets
Positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills
Proven leadership in site safety and team leadership
Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Teams)
Experience interpreting project schedules (MS Project or Primavera)
Quality assurance and budget management experience
