Electrical Superintendent
**Electrical Superintendent - open to professionals willing to relocate to Kemptville, ON!** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced **Electrical Superintendent** to join our team on a long-term project. This role requires a thorough understanding of health, safety, and environment policies and procedures, as well as the ability to build strong working relationships with the site team, project workforce, subcontractors, suppliers, owners, and engineers. You will be accountable for the quality and results of the electrical work on the project, ensuring all necessary actions are taken to achieve the desired outcomes. **Responsibilities** + Maintain a comprehensive understanding of NAC's Health, Safety, and Environment policies and procedures. + Develop and maintain positive working relationships and morale with the site team and project workforce. + Ensure thorough knowledge of trade-specific aspects of the project. + Hold responsibility for understanding estimates, material, and labor cost codes. + Provide weekly planning aid drafts to the Project Superintendent. + Prepare and approve timesheets. + Administer collective agreements and company policies. + Offer technical expertise for project management team regarding RFIs, RFS, CRX, and commissioning plans. + Meet project-specific Quality Plan requirements. + Provide regular performance feedback and coaching to the workforce. **MUST HAVES** + Trade certification with 3-5 years of experience as an electrical superintendent in heavy construction projects. + Excellent knowledge of mechanical, civil, and electrical trades. + Project management experience. + Strong organizational skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). + Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act. + Ability to lead and assess trade performance effectively. + Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. + Results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines. + Valid WHMIS, Elevated/Aerial Work Platform, and Fall Arrest certificates. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 5+ years of electrical supervisory experience. + Experience with construction management and electrical construction. + 309A experience. + Experience with hand and power tools. + Experience in large construction projects, particularly in water and wastewater sectors. **Why Work Here?** Join a high-paying, reputable company with a long-term project that offers stability and the potential for permanent employment after six months.
