ELECTRICAL QC INSPECTOR

Join us in reshaping the future of the steel industry. We are working on a large capital construction project that aims to be fully operational by 2030, the project is based in Boden, Sweden and can offer either a rotational or residential working schedule with accommodation provided on both. The contract would initially be for 12 months with the possibility of extension and we can cater for both self employed or employed set ups.

We are looking for an Electrical Inspector to join our construction team on-site. This position plays a key role in supporting electrical installation quality and compliance across the project, working closely with contractors and engineering teams to ensure all electrical works are carried out according to Swedish regulations, project specifications, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct inspections of electrical installations to verify compliance with design documents and Swedish regulations. Support quality control and safety checks during installation and commissioning activities Review and track contractor work, ensuring proper execution and documentation. Assist with testing and commissioning of electrical systems. Identify and report non-conformances and help ensure corrective actions are completed. Maintain accurate and organized inspection records and documentation. Collaborate with site teams, supervisors, and project managers to ensure smooth execution of electrical scopes.
Required Qualifications & Experience: Experience working on large industrial or infrastructure construction projects preferred. Familiarity with quality assurance processes for low and medium voltage electrical systems. Preferred Qualifications & Skills: Previous experience in manufacturing, energy, or process industry environments. Basic understanding of electrical testing, cable terminations, and panel installations High voltage (HV) certification is a plus. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel. Strong attention to detail and ability to document technical work.
