Job Description:
Parsons is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Electrical Project Manager to join our team onsite at our construction project in Kings Bay, GA. In this role, you will lead a large, complex electrical infrastructure project in support of a Prime contractor and a U.S. Government client. You’ll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest technical and safety standards.
What You'll Be Doing:
Provide overall leadership, management, and direction across all project phases.
Ensure completion on time, under budget, and in compliance with contractual requirements.
Lead scope development, scope management, and commercial performance of assigned projects.
Develop project execution strategies, goals, schedules, and budgets.
Act as the primary liaison with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
Oversee the preparation and implementation of the Project Execution Plan, Safety Plan, and QA/QC Plan.
Manage risk, performance, reporting, subcontractors, and change orders.
Drive technical and commercial excellence using Parsons’ quality processes.
Hold weekly and quarterly reviews to track milestones, costs, schedules, risks, and subcontractor performance.
Mobilize internal resources and external partners to deliver high-quality results.
Supervise, mentor, and review project staff performance, providing clear leadership in a field-based environment.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related technical/business field.
Local or willing to be onsite for an extended period of time in Kings Bay, GA
12+ years of related work experience, with at least 7 years managing complex electrical projects for U.S. Government clients.
Strong technical and business background in electrical contracting.
Proven ability to lead projects in the $20M–$50M range.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with clients, subcontractors, engineers, and government officials.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage field teams effectively.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Professional registration or certification through the Project Management Institute (PMP) or the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA – CCM) is preferred.
