Role Overview
Manage UPS systems and HV/LV Transformers. Oversee fixed type distribution boards. Prepare and issue project deliverables related to electrical materials, including Technical Specifications, Datasheets, Material Requisitions, Scope of Supply, Inspection and Test Plans, and Schedule. Issue requisitions for inquiry and purchase in coordination with other operating centers and partners. Review compliance of BIDDER’s proposals and issue technical bid tabulations. Conduct technical follow-up of requisitions, ensuring quality, schedule adherence, and technical compliance. Check or approve deliverables relevant to the scope of requisition. Coordinate execution of purchase orders with the Procurement team. Provide comments on VENDOR documents and respond to COMPANY comments. Review the Quality Control Plan (QCP) and test procedures. Regularly report to the Lead Discipline Engineer regarding deliverables, blocking technical issues, and Vendor’s documentation submission progress. Identify necessary interfaces and coordinate with the Lead Discipline Engineer or its deputy. Obtain relevant data from other operating centers, disciplines, and partners to perform deliverables. Prepare for and assist in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs). Provide design engineers with equipment data required for installation studies. Interface with other equipment lead Engineers (MV & LV switchgear, ECS, Transformers, etc.). Identify and alert on changes introduced by COMPANY or any other parties. Populate Smartplant Electrical Database with all required Vendor’s data.Skills & Qualifications
Fluent in English with strong writing skills for technical documents and verbal communication. Significant experience (more than 5 years) in electrical equipment design in Oil & Gas. Experience in technical follow-up of a VENDOR including reporting and planning analysis. Knowledge of engineering workflow and IEC standards. Good communication skills to manage interfaces with team members across disciplines. Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Smart Plant Electrical (SPEL).Education & Experience
