Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Electrical Maintenance Technician to support field electrical maintenance operations, including electrical isolation procedures (LOTO) for lighting, air conditioning, and motor systems. This role involves executing scheduled preventive and breakdown maintenance activities to minimize production impact and maximize operational availability. The technician will also assist in reviewing and updating electrical documentation across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

In addition to Level 1 responsibilities, a Level 2 Technician will:

Perform Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV) electrical isolations and lock-offs Ensure all activities meet company standards and procedures Raise permits within agreed timeframes Report maintenance data for reliability analysis Participate in failure investigations and identify reliability issues Generate work requests to address plant and equipment faults Develop and review operational and maintenance procedures Provide input and support for new projects, including commissioning activities Review and verify existing electrical drawings for pipeline pump stations, meter stations, and satellite sites Visually inspect junction boxes, pull boxes, PLC cabinets, disconnects, MCC enclosures, and switchgear for proper labeling Tag and verify enclosures, pipe runs, and wire runs with correct identification Submit updated drawings in PDF format for final approval Basic / Required Qualifications Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry Valid Jornemays Electrical License (required) Master Electrician License (preferred) Relevant discipline certifications or equivalent professional experience Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly describe field conditions and recommend solutions Effective team collaboration, even without direct authority Ability to manage tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and shifting priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
