Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Electrician responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical systems and equipment within a fast‑paced industrial facility. This role requires strong troubleshooting abilities, hands‑on technical expertise, and the ability to work independently while supporting production uptime and facility reliability.
Responsibilities
Identify electrical issues using a variety of diagnostic and testing devices.Inspect, install, and maintain electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers, panels, and motor control devices.Repair or replace wiring, fixtures, electrical equipment, and related components as needed.Perform preventive maintenance, including conduit installations, equipment inspections, and system upgrades.Work safely on high‑voltage electrical systems (up to 480V) and industrial motor control circuits.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute accurate troubleshooting and installations.Communicate effectively in English—speaking, reading, and writing—when documenting work or collaborating with team members.Demonstrate initiative by solving practical problems independently and supporting continuous improvement efforts.Essential Skills
Strong electrical aptitude with hands on experience in industrial settings.Troubleshoot and repair motor controls, sensors, relays, control panels, and high‑voltage systems.Ability to work confidently with schematics, diagrams, and electrical layouts.Competed training/degree in electrical field.Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Florham Park, NJ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr.
