MaintenanceTechnician (Electrical / Multi-skill)

 

Location: LondonWC1A 1DG

Contract- Permanent-40 hours per week

Hours: Early7:00- 16:00 pm Late: 14:00 till 23:00pm

Workingdays: Monday-Friday

 

About the Role

Are you anexperienced Maintenance Technician with an electrical bias and a proactiveapproach? We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join ouron-site engineering team in London. In this role, you will be responsible formaintaining a broad range of electrical and mechanical building servicessystems, helping ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency across thefacility.

 

 KeyResponsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, including LV systems, lighting, BMS, and power distribution.Support the maintenance of mechanical systems such as boilers, pumps, AHUs, and sanitary ware where competent.Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for out-of-hours response.Work in line with the Permit to Work system and all relevant health and safety standards.Accurately log and update tasks using CAFM/IT systems and handheld devices.Monitor subcontractor performance and report any issues.Support energy-saving initiatives and contribute to compliance and performance reviews.

 

Candidate Profile

HND, NVQ or equivalent qualification in a relevant electrical discipline.Minimum of 2 years’ experience in electrical building services and plant engineering.Sound understanding of mechanical systems.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Flexible and able to travel to support other sites when required.Previous AP/CP designation (e.g. LV, Working at Heights) is preferred but not essential.
