We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician III (Journeyman License required!) to join our team in the Oil and Gas industry, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and safety of electrical systems.

Role Overview

Support field electrical maintenance work and electrical isolation (Lock Out Tag Out - LOTO) for lighting, air conditioning, and motor maintenance. Plan and execute scheduled preventive and breakdown maintenance activities to minimize production impact and maximize operational availability. Work with vendors and sub-contractors as required. Comply with requirements of Management of Change (MOC) for Plant Modifications. Apply skills and knowledge efficiently while seeking opportunities for improvement, cost savings, and simplification. Promote high Safety, Security, Health, and Environmental (SSHE) standards and demonstrate responsibility for safety. Employ Observation Safety Techniques (OST) to report safe and unsafe acts. Participate in a responsible waste management system. Attend and participate in the Operations morning shift meeting.

Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in a closely related position, preferably in the Oil and Gas Industry. Discipline appropriate certification(s) or equivalent professional experience. Effective communication skills to describe field conditions and recommend remediation steps. Team player with effective teamwork skills. Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Education & Experience

Qualifications: Relevant technical certifications or equivalent experience preferred. Experience: Previous experience in electrical maintenance roles.
