Our client is a leading manufacturing company.
Position Scope:
Reporting to the supervisor, planner/scheduler, the maintenance planner is committed to helping the facility reach reliability excellence. You will be responsible for the planning and/or scheduling of labour, parts, services and materials of site maintenance activities and occasionally project work. You will work closely with the maintenance supervisors, contractors when applicable, and various departments to ensure that work minimizes impact to production activities and maximizes equipment and resource availability and efficiency.
Occupying a key role within the Work Management processes that support Operational Reliability, your responsibilities will include performing a follow up of completed work and consulting with the operations and trades personnel to modify and correct any plans for future work. This includes developing and modifying bills of materials in the computerized maintenance management system. You will also be responsible for developing standard job plans for repetitive work orders.
Responsibilities:
Plan and schedule preventative and corrective maintenance for electrical systems. Develop and maintain bills of materials and standard job plans in SAP S4. Coordinate with trades, production, and warehouse to ensure readiness. Conduct follow-ups on completed work and adjust future plans accordingly. Support operational reliability through effective work management processes. Ensure safety standards are upheld in all planning activities.Required Skills and Knowledge:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. Experience with SAP S4 or similar CMMS. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Electrical background with planning experience preferredEducation and Experience:
Minimum 6 years of experience in an industrial setting. Journeyperson certificate in electrical trade, technologist diploma, or engineering degree (preferred). CMRP, MMP, or PMP designation is an asset. Experience in chemical or petrochemical continuous operations is a plus.Application Instructions:
