**Pay: $35-$45 per hour** **Shift: Monday - Friday 6AM-6PM! Occasional nights or Weekends as needed!** **Location: San Martin, CA** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the safe operation, reliability, and efficiency of our manufacturing equipment. This role involves performing routine electrical preventative maintenance and diagnosing malfunctioning systems to reduce unplanned downtime. **Responsibilities** + Conduct testing and measurements of AC/DC utilities using multi-meters and OME meters. + Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to determine root cause. + Perform routine electrical preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operation and early failure detection. + Execute necessary maintenance tasks, including repair or replacement of defective parts, adjustments, and calibration procedures. + Assemble, install, test, and execute preventative maintenance tasks on various forms of manufacturing equipment. + Review and comprehend blueprints, electrical schematics, repair manuals, and parts catalogs. + Perform additional duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job as needed. **Essential Skills** + 5 years of maintenance experience. + Strong skills in electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and blueprint schematics. + Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair using hand tools. + Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and electrical principles. + Manufacturing and/or industrial environment experience. + Preventive maintenance skills. + Heavy equipment and industrial experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + At least 5 years of controls experience in manufacturing programming, ladder logic, and motor controls. + Minimum 2 years of PLC troubleshooting. + Experience with installation and programming of variable frequency drives, including Siemens and Schneider. + High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. + Technical or vocational school certification preferred. + Ability to read and comprehend safety procedures, operating and maintenance instructions. **Why Work Here?** Join a leading global supplier of building and landscaping products with a diverse portfolio and a strong presence in North America and Europe. Physical requirements include lifting up to 65 lbs., extended standing, walking, sitting, bending, climbing, and using fall protection equipment.
