Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrical Lead 2 to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring that all safety protocols are adhered to while supporting the implementation of project objectives and procedures. You will play a key role in inspecting construction installations for compliance with drawings and specifications, and in planning the sequence and scheduling of construction activities to ensure timely and budget-friendly completion.
ResponsibilitiesAbide by all safety rules and help establish and maintain a culture focused on safety.Support the implementation of project objectives and procedures.Inspect construction installations to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.Assist in planning construction activities to meet schedule and budget requirements.Ensure quality requirements of applicable plans, specifications, and standards are met.Monitor progress versus schedule requirements and maintain awareness of measurable quantities.Identify installation problems, assist in developing solutions, and ensure corrective actions are taken.Maintain awareness of equipment and material transportation schedules to support construction activities.Support site management in administering construction contracts.Conduct various meetings including pre-bid, pre-mobilization, contractor orientation, and project status meetings.Verify installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of industrial process electrical devices and equipment.Check drawings, schematics, and documents to verify equipment installation and operation per project design.Work with field engineers, owner's personnel, and team members to complete daily tasks.Perform electrical checks/testing and document per industry standards and project-specific requirements.Follow or create procedures for assigned work tasks using required safety procedures such as LOTO, Arc Flash, Arc Blast, and Shock Hazard.Provide training and troubleshooting independently and supervise other technicians, subcontractors, or client personnel if required.Essential SkillsConstruction inspectionElectrical testingCommissioningPlant engineeringKnowledge of OSHA and applicable environmental regulationsWorking knowledge of medium/low voltage installation and checkoutStartup and commissioning experience at a Liquefied Natural Gas plant4-year degree in Engineering or related field, or 10+ years combined experience in Engineering Design, Gas Compression stations, LNG Plant Startup, and/or Plant Engineering, Operations and Maintenance experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsSelf-starter, proactive with effective communication skills.Knowledge of construction standard practices, techniques, and quality requirements.Ability to interface with contractors, designers, vendors, and other project-connected parties.Working knowledge of best practices for installation of conduits, cable tray, supports, and cable-pulling techniques.Work Environment
This position is on-site at a Liquefied Natural Gas facility. The work schedule is typically Monday to Friday, with possible weekend work. The standard workweek is 5 days per week, 10 hours per day (5x10), with the possibility of extending to 6 days per week during certain project phases. This role requires adherence to safety and operational standards in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
