Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, compliance, and reliability of electrical systems across various projects in the region.

Conduct thorough inspections of electrical installations and equipment to verify compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes, with a focus on Saudi Arabian standardsReview electrical plans, specifications, and blueprints for new installations or system upgrades to ensure they meet safety requirements and industry standardsIdentify and document electrical code violations, providing clear and concise reports on necessary corrective actionsPerform routine inspections to assess the condition and integrity of existing electrical systems and equipmentUtilize specialized testing equipment to measure the performance and safety of electrical systemsCollaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address electrical safety concerns and ensure timely resolution of issuesStay up-to-date with evolving electrical codes, regulations, and industry best practices in Saudi Arabia and internationallyMaintain accurate and detailed records of all inspections, findings, and recommendationsProvide guidance and expertise on electrical safety matters to clients, colleagues, and other professionals in the field

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldMinimum of 10 years of experience in electrical inspections or related electrical workCertification as a licensed Electrical Inspector (if required in Saudi Arabia)In-depth knowledge of local, state, and national electrical codes, with a strong focus on Saudi Arabian electrical standards and regulationsProven experience in conducting electrical inspections, plan reviews, and performance testingProficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentationExpertise in using specialized electrical testing equipment and toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detailSolid understanding of safety protocols and best practices in electrical installationsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearlyAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to travel within the Riyadh region as needed for on-site inspectionsFamiliarity with computer-based reporting systems and basic software applicationsKnowledge of English and Arabic languages is highly desirable
