Job Description
The Electrical Helper plays a crucial role in supporting electricians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to learn trade skills and safety practices while assisting with tools, materials, and basic tasks under supervision.
Responsibilities
Assist electricians with transporting tools, materials, and equipment.Maintain tools, supplies, and work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.Perform housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, organizing, and removing debris.Wear required personal protective equipment including hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and work boots.Support the installation or removal of materials such as conduit, fixtures, and motors.Help with pulling wire, threading conduit, and preparing materials for installation.Operate basic hand tools under supervision, such as screwdrivers, hammers, pliers, and drills.Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions immediately.Learn and apply trade practices under the guidance of qualified electricians.Essential Skills
Experience in electrical wiring and construction.Knowledge of conduit installation and OSHA 10 standards.Industrial construction experience.Proficiency in using power tools and understanding schematics.Ability to install controls and service cables.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
Work hours are Monday to Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The role involves working in a data center environment, requiring adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
