Job Description
As an Electrical Foreman, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, managing electrical layouts, and performing conduit bending. You will be involved in electrical construction, including the installation of EMT, galvanized, and ridged conduits. Your role will also include installing switchgear, mounting boxes and panels, and pulling wire for various electrical systems such as roughing MC & BX cable, Lutron lighting packages, risers, lighting, and fire alarms.
ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints to understand electrical layouts.Perform conduit bending and manage electrical installations.Install EMT, galvanized, and ridged conduits for construction projects.Handle switchgear installation and mount boxes and panels.Pull wire and rough MC & BX cable for lighting systems.Work with Lutron lighting packages, risers, lighting, and fire alarms.Ensure compliance with NEC code standards.Essential SkillsProficiency in electrical wiring and troubleshooting.Experience with conduit bending and electrical installations.Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.Knowledge of switchgear, lighting, and NEC code.4-10 years of experience in electrical work.Additional Skills & QualificationsSST 10 certification.OSHA 30 certification.Strong understanding of NEC code standards.Why Work Here

Work Environment
Work is based in Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn. The hours are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with a half-hour lunch break. You will clock in using mobile codes, and the environment is safety-oriented, requiring PPE at all times.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
