The Electrical Estimator is responsible for capturing labor and material costs to complete electrical system estimates for both our commercial and industrial customers. This role is the foundation for the success of our departments to capture the correct amount of profitable work by providing customers with the most accurate project cost as possible.\n

Responsibilities:\n\nEstimate small to medium sized projects as determined by the Lead Estimator\nComplete project take offs with a high level of attention to details\nReview application and project factors with Lead Estimator prior to bid\nProcure vendor and sub-contractor pricing as required\nDetermine and add general expenses to project\nAssist in the Value Engineering process when necessary\nAid in keeping the estimating software and databases current\nKeep Lead Estimator updated of your work status on a weekly basis\nMay be called on to perfom Assistant Project Manager tasks \nPerform other related duties when requested by Department Manager and\/or Lead Estimator\n\n
Minimum Requirements:\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nAt least 2 years of industrial and\/or commercial electrical system install experience\nAbility to read construction documents including drawings\nPrior electrical estimating experience preferred but not required\nAccubid experience preferred but not required\nAbove average computer skills with the ability to learn new software efficiently\nAbove average conceptual ability while maintaining a high level of attention to detail\nPossess excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal\nAbility to work independently with a teamwork mentality\n\n
