Job DescriptionPosition Overview:
An entry-level engineering role responsible for supporting design, analysis, and documentation tasks using engineering tools and software, under the guidance of senior engineers.
Preferred Requirements:
Builds analytical and engineering design skills.Performs engineering design under the supervision of experienced engineers.Prepares designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings.Collects and analyzes engineering data to support project requirements.Uses computer software and engineering tools to solve basic engineering problems.Completes assigned work in line with approved budgets and project schedules under supervision.Assists in reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical documents.Coordinates with internal teams and project stakeholders for design inputs.Supports site teams by providing technical clarifications as required.Participates in design reviews and coordination meetings.Ensures compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety guidelines.Maintains accurate project records, drawings, and documentation.Supports quality checks and design verification processes.Assists in resolving basic technical and design-related issues.Follows organizational procedures, project protocols, and ethical standards.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.Additional InformationBasic knowledge of engineering design principles, codes, and standards.Proficiency in computer-aided design and engineering software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools preferred).Good understanding of MS Office applications.Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.About AECOM
