Electrical Engineer Manager

Leads the design, production, and test of advanced Anti-Submarine Warfare receiver systems, RF front-ends, and DSP electronics while managing the Electrical Engineering department and site coordination.

Requirements

BS in Electrical Engineering (or higher)

9+ years in complex electronics/embedded/RF/DSP product development or production environments

1+ year leadership experience with responsibility for technical, financial, and/or personnel resources

Proven delivery of complex engineering projects to schedule, budget, and technical targets

Preferred Skills

CAD/EDA and design tools: schematic/PCB (Altium preferred), simulation, and modeling

Proposal development experience: RFPs, SOWs, BOEs, technical volumes

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Project, and Visio

Background with ASW, RF front-ends, sonobuoy receivers, or DSP electronics

Responsibilities

Manage Electrical Engineering department policies, procedures, and toolchains for design, test, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems

Plan staffing and resolve resource overages/shortfalls; develop projections aligned to business and program needs

Lead recruiting and onboarding: job requisitions, interviewing, evaluation, hiring

Coordinate projects and staffing with other engineering disciplines and external vendors; serve as engineering site lead

Conduct performance reviews; coach and develop engineers and technicians

Review/approve new or revised designs, test methods, and installation procedures

Drive process improvement and develop innovative solutions considering cost, schedule, risk, and performance trade-offs

Influence staffing plans, budgets, and policies; provide data-driven inputs to senior leadership

Ensure programs meet cost, schedule, and technical performance goals for Electrical Engineering scope

Uphold compliance with engineering processes, policies, standards, and site safety requirements

Pay: 167000-187000

Pay Details: $160,000.00 to $187,000.00 per year
