Join us. **Job Description** We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Electrical Engineer (Low Voltage) to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will design, install, and maintain low voltage electrical systems for commercial and industrial applications. You will work collaboratively with project teams to ensure all systems meet safety standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to critical infrastructure projects while maintaining the highest standards of technical excellence and compliance with Saudi Arabia's electrical codes and regulations. + Design and develop low voltage electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting control, and fire alarm systems, using industry-standard CAD software and design tools + Conduct detailed electrical calculations and circuit analysis to ensure system efficiency, safety, and compliance with applicable standards and codes + Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, specifications, and installation manuals + Oversee installation and commissioning of low voltage systems, ensuring work is completed on schedule and within budget parameters + Perform systematic troubleshooting and diagnostics of electrical systems to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently + Conduct regular maintenance inspections and testing of low voltage equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance + Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to coordinate project timelines and address technical requirements + Stay current with industry standards, emerging technologies, and regulatory updates relevant to low voltage electrical systems + Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and Saudi Arabia's electrical standards and requirements + Document project progress, test results, and system performance data in an organized and systematic manner **Qualifications** **Required Skills:** + Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD, ETAP, or equivalent CAD tools) + Strong knowledge of low voltage system design and installation practices + Expertise in electrical circuit analysis and troubleshooting methodologies + Excellent technical documentation and report writing abilities + Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and technical drawings + Knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements (IEC, NEC, or equivalent) + Project management and organizational skills + Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities **Required Experience:** + Minimum 15 years of professional experience in low voltage electrical engineering or related field + Proven experience designing and installing low voltage distribution systems + Hands-on experience with fire alarm systems, security systems, or building automation systems + Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical projects + Demonstrated experience with system testing, commissioning, and maintenance **Required Education & Certifications:** + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related discipline + Valid professional electrical certification or license (or eligibility to obtain one in Saudi Arabia) + Knowledge of Saudi Arabia's electrical codes and regulations is highly desirable **Domain Expertise:** + Low voltage power distribution systems + Building automation and control systems + Fire detection and alarm systems + Security and access control systems + HVAC control systems + Renewable energy systems integration (preferred) **Additional Information** **About AECOM** AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
