Electrical Design Engineer responsible for designing, analyzing, and improving electrical systems and products from concept through production.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Proficiency in electrical circuit design and analysis
Experience using electrical simulation software for performance evaluation and optimization
Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations
Familiarity with CAD software for creating electrical schematics and layouts
Preferred Skills
Prior experience in electrical engineering or related roles
Practical experience with electrical testing equipment
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and design-for-manufacture considerations
Ability to identify potential risks or errors in designs and implement appropriate mitigation measures
Job Responsibilities
Design electrical systems, components, and products based on project requirements and specifications
Develop and test prototypes to verify functionality, performance, and safety
Analyze electrical systems and circuits, perform calculations, and use simulation software to assess performance and drive improvements
Identify and troubleshoot issues in electrical designs and propose effective technical solutions
Plan and manage electrical engineering projects, including creating project timelines and coordinating with cross-functional teams
Ensure projects are completed within defined budget and schedule constraints
Prepare detailed technical documentation, including specifications, schematics, diagrams, and test reports
Maintain accurate records of design modifications, test results, and project progress
Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations in all designs and deliverables
Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to minimize hazards and support a safe working environment
Research and propose innovative technical solutions to enhance product performance, reliability, and efficiency
Pay Details: $29.00 to $39.00 per hour
