PCA is seeking an Electrical Engineer Co-Op at our mill in Tomahawk, WI. This is an opportunity to complete a 9-month term from January-August 2026 or May-December 2026.
Work with mill electrical engineers on the planning, designing, installation, and commissioning of electrical equipment. Some examples of equipment could include motors, motor control centers (MCCs), lighting, valves, buttons/switches, monitoring devices (sensors, cameras, etc.), instrumentation, etc.
Update AutoCAD drawings and create new drawings for new projects/equipment.
Lead and/or assist with project management. Projects may be strictly electrical equipment install/repair/replacement or be part of larger projects involving multiple engineering disciplines. Co-ops will need to communicate and coordinate with operations, contractors, and mill maintenance shops to ensure smooth project installation and startup. Project management will include monitoring costs, managing time restraints, and making sure things are done safely.
Basic Qualifications:
Working towards bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
Experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, AutoCAD and Project.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Must be willing to work overtime, nights and weekends when needed.
