Duties, Responsibilities & Authorities:

 As an electrical engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

Design of elevator Electrical Subsystem/Modules in Hoistway

Demonstrate design with MASC (modeling/analysis/simulation/calculation)

Develop and execute the test plan

Documentation of engineering works according to Otis product development process (e.g.: requirement, drawings, test reports, user’s manuals etc)

Verify/qualify the design

Coordinate with other function to ensure program success

Perform other duties as assigned and requested

Accountability & measures:

Correct and efficient performance of the tasks with sense of ownership

Complete the job on target with respect to quality, time, and cost

Support others to achieve departmental work objectives

Self-motivated for continuous improvement of product and personal skills to adapt external environment change.

Work experience & skills requirements:

Minimum 3 years of design experience with Master’s degree or 5 years with Bachelor’s degree

Electrical circuit design, component selection, qualification

EMC/EMI and environment design & analysis, improvement
