Key Responsibilities Engineering & Design Prepare electrical engineering deliverables including single-line diagrams, power distribution layouts, load lists, cable schedules, and equipment datasheets. Perform power system calculations such as load flow, short-circuit, voltage drop, and motor starting analysis. Design and review LV and MV electrical systems for marine vessels and offshore facilities. Ensure compliance with applicable IEC, IEEE, and Marine Classification Society rules (e.g. ABS, DNV, BV). Project Execution Coordinate with multi-discipline engineering teams including Instrumentation, Mechanical, Structural, and Naval Architecture. Support procurement activities such as technical bid evaluations, vendor documentation review, FAT/SAT participation, and technical clarifications. Review and approve vendor, subcontractor, and supplier drawings and technical submissions. Qualifications   Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Registered or eligible for registration with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) is an advantage. Requirements Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as an Electrical Engineer in marine, offshore, or oil & gas projects. Hands-on experience in electrical engineering for vessels, offshore platforms, FPSOs, or offshore construction equipment. Familiarity with marine and offshore power generation and distribution systems.
