Electrical Power Systems Engineer role responsible for analyzing, designing, and documenting complex electrical distribution, lighting, and low-voltage infrastructure for high-performance facilities.
Job RequirementsFour-year degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
Demonstrated pursuit of professional licensure (Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification)
Mastery of fundamental electrical science and circuit theory
Proven ability to produce accurate schematic and single-line diagrams
Demonstrated capability using Revit for electrical design, especially for power plants and energy distribution systems
Preferred SkillsExperience analyzing electrical distribution networks, including voltage drop and regulation calculations
Experience with conduit loading calculations and cable management planning
Familiarity with lighting design software and energy-efficient illumination standards
Experience with renewable and sustainable energy generation technologies
Knowledge of utility interconnection requirements and local electrical codes and standards
Experience with low-voltage and optical fiber cabling design for data and telecommunications networks
Job ResponsibilitiesAnalyze electrical distribution networks and calculate voltage drop compensation to ensure optimal performance and regulation
Calculate and verify conduit loading parameters for safe installation and efficient cable routing
Develop comprehensive lighting schemes that integrate aesthetic objectives, functional requirements, and energy usage standards
Design power generation and distribution infrastructure, including systems that leverage sustainable and renewable energy technologies
Manage technical coordination and system integration with external utilities, power suppliers, and regulatory authorities
Produce high-fidelity electrical diagrams, including single-line, three-phase, and detailed schematic drawings
Engineer specialized low-voltage and fiber-optic cabling solutions to support robust data and telecommunication networks
Maintain and update technical documentation, reports, and design records throughout project lifecycles
Pay Details: $40.00 to $54.00 per hour
