Electrical Engineer

Summary: Senior Electrical Hardware Engineer leading end-to-end electrical design for next-generation hardware with emphasis on AC/DC power architecture, PCB development, and compliance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.

7+ years professional engineering experience.

3+ years dedicated to physical product development.

Expert proficiency in PCB CAD tools (Altium Designer or KiCad).

Working knowledge of NEC, UL, FCC, and EMC regulations.

Experience developing products in categories such as office fixtures, consumer appliances, or electronics.

Preferred Skills

USB-C Power Delivery design, including related firmware.

AC power distribution in commercial environments.

Hands-on electronics assembly and rapid prototyping.

Application of regulatory and safety standards across the product lifecycle.

Electronics troubleshooting and repair down to component level.

Responsibilities

Drive the electrical design lifecycle from concept through release to manufacturing.

Architect AC/DC power systems and implement high-reliability power supplies.

Design, simulate, and lay out PCBs; own stack-up, routing, DFM/DFT, and fabrication package delivery.

Build and refine prototypes to validate concepts, components, and thermal/EMC performance.

Interface with industrial design and cross-functional engineering teams for mechanical/electrical integration.

Meet targets for performance, cost, reliability, and manufacturability.

Perform engineering analysis (signal integrity, power integrity, thermal, tolerance) to optimize designs.

Generate and maintain technical documentation: schematics, CAD models, BOMs, ECOs, and test artifacts.

Support product verification, compliance testing, and supplier engagement.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Contribute to project roadmapping, milestone planning, and delivery timelines.



Pay Details: $51.00 to $69.00 per hour
