The Electrical Engineer will work under the Site Sustainability Lead to assist in developing and executing site electrical reliability and sustainability programs aligned with Sanofi Planet Care strategies and site business needs. The Electrical Engineer is responsible for developing and executing site programs involving the reliability and performance of the Site’s Electrical infrastructure. The position supports site infrastructure projects, day to day electrical troubleshooting, electrical design calculations and upkeep of electrical documentation on all electrical systems serving Swiftwater site. Ready to get started? **Main Responsibilities:** **Electrical Systems** + Key stakeholder for the life-cycle management of electrical assets. This includes being the liaison for electrical equipment / system modifications and Preventative Maintenance (PM) review/modification, to improve operation, uptime and efficiency. Provide electrical support to manufacturing equipment, identifying and managing electrical projects and assist with coordination of electrical repair during shutdowns. + Liaison with the Engineering department to review all new projects for electrical needs. This will include such things as design calculations, developing maintenance plans, and project commissioning activites. + Through individual contribution and/or leading teams, coordinate all electrical changes with CAD team, reconcile electrical changes within existing electrical drawings, reviewing final electrical drawings and approving them within drawing management system. + Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and good documentation practices are followed to track all work and make data analysis efficient. + Support a strong Maintenance Safety Culture that encourages taking the right amount of time to perform each task safely. + Work with Site Engineering to develop and manage the Electrical Engineering Standards. **Site Sustainability** + Develops and executes sustainability programs aligned with Sanofi Planet Care strategies. Works collaboratively within Engineering and across departments to ensure operational efficiency and to identify and implement projects to reduce the environmental footprint of the site. + Ensures programs are aligned with HSE management systems. Contributes to ISO 50001and site sustainability audits + Participates in Sustainability COP network **Related KPIs & Metrics** + Planet Care Metrics (CO2, Energy, Water) + 2030 Energy Project Roadmap + Area maintenance spend (budget, headcount, parts, services) + Deviations and discards due to maintenance issues + HSE Compliance (wastewater, air emissions, ISO50001, ISO14001) + HSE performance (injury rates, near misses, pSIFs) **About You** **Education & Experience & Certifications** + BS Electrical Engineering is required, 5+ years experience + Technical experience in construction, predictive and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of electrical distribution systems at a large industrial site.
