Electrical Engineer

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to grow in a multidisciplinary environment focused on Solid State Power Amplifiers (SSPAs) and related RF systems. **Key Responsibilities:** + Support system-level integration and testing of RF and microwave components, primarily SSPAs and multi-function modules. + Assist in the development and automation of test systems using software tools such as Python, LabVIEW, or MATLAB. + Collaborate with senior engineers to analyze system performance and troubleshoot RF chain issues. + Contribute to the development of control interfaces and embedded software for RF subsystems. + Perform basic RF measurements and data analysis using network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and power meters. + Document test procedures, results, and system configurations. + Participate in cross-functional engineering teams to support product development and validation. **Preferred Skills & Experience:** + Basic understanding of RF and microwave principles (e.g., gain, noise figure, impedance matching). + Familiarity with RF components such as amplifiers, filters, mixers, and switches. + Experience with scripting or programming languages (Python, MATLAB, C/C++). + Exposure to RF simulation tools (e.g., ADS, Microwave Office) is a plus but not required. + Hands-on experience with lab equipment and test automation is highly desirable. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication and documentation abilities. **Qualifications** The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. **Computer Skills:** To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a general knowledge of Microsoft Office and Development Software. **Other Essential Duties** Follows all import/export requirements, consulting with facility import/export personnel as required. **Other Qualifications** + Active Government Security Clearance or Ability to acquire one. + US Citizenship with ability to attain/maintain government security clearance. + Ability to travel (domestically/internationally) approximately _5_%. **Position may require one or more of the following (Site/CBU Specific):** U.S. Person for access to ITAR-Controlled Technical Data.
