Seeking an experienced engineer to design, develop, and maintain embedded systems for high-voltage motor drive applications in aerospace or industrial environments.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
10+ years of experience with embedded systems using analog and digital electronic circuits
10+ years of experience with isolated motor drives
10+ years of experience with galvanically isolated feedback/control systems
5+ years of experience with 270VDC+ motor drive bridges
5+ years of experience using Altium Designer for schematic capture, PCB layout, and component management
Understanding of formal design practices aligned with DO-254 guidance
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Texas Instruments’ Code Composer Studio
Familiarity with TI’s SM320F28335 DSP
Knowledge of ARINC 429 protocol and Holt hostless ARINC 429 devices
Understanding of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machines (PMSMs) and Brushless DC Machines (BLDCs)
Job Responsibilities:
Design and maintain embedded control systems for high-voltage motor drives
Develop schematics and PCB layouts in Altium for new and existing projects
Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to ensure robust system integration
Analyze system requirements to ensure compliance with DO-254 and other relevant standards
Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting of motor drive systems
Maintain detailed design documentation, configuration management, and version control
Pay Details: $54.00 to $72.00 per hour
