Electrical Engineer
Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Description

Join our dynamic team as an Electrical Engineer, where you will tackle wire harness issues and take charge of designing and assembling wire harnesses. You will play a pivotal role in process improvement, focusing on tooling, process, and engineering enhancements. This is an exciting opportunity to grow in a start-up environment with room for advancement, particularly in the stable defense industry.

ResponsibilitiesAddress and resolve wire harness issues.Design and assemble wire harnesses.Implement process improvements related to tooling, processes, and engineering.Collaborate with technicians, leadership, and design engineers to ensure seamless operations.
Essential SkillsA minimum of 1 year in electrical engineering or manufacturing experience with a bachelor's in engineering, OR 3+ years working as an engineering technician with leadership experience, OR 1+ year of wire harness experience.Proficiency in computer applications.Strong communication skills.Reliability and adherence to IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with SolidWorks, Creo, and NX.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering preferred.Hands-on experience in manufacturing processes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr.
