We’re hiring an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to support high-profile data center projects in a fast-paced, design-driven environment. This is a hybrid role based in NYC, offering the chance to contribute to multimillion-dollar builds while working alongside a tight-knit team of architects, engineers, and project leaders.
🔍 About the Role
You’ll be responsible for designing electrical systems for complex building projects, performing detailed engineering calculations, and ensuring compliance with local and national codes. You’ll use AutoCAD MEP and Revit to produce sharp, buildable drawings and collaborate across disciplines to deliver high-performance infrastructure.
🛠️ Key ResponsibilitiesPerform load calculations, energy analysis, and equipment selectionDesign electrical layouts including switchgear, transformers, panels, UPS systems, and emergency generatorsCalculate power and lighting loads for new and existing systemsConduct code reviews and ensure compliance with safety and performance standardsDesign life safety systems such as fire alarmsManage time and budget to meet project deliverablesProduce electrical drawings using AutoCAD MEP and Revit
✅ QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering5–8 years of experience in electrical design for building systemsProficiency in AutoCAD MEP and RevitExperience with load calculations and managing small to mid-sized projectsStrong written and verbal communication skills
