Description:
Electrical Engineer produces new electronic circuit schematics and circuit board designs, working alongside software engineers to develop embedded systems. The Junior Electrical Engineer reports to the Electrical Engineering Manager with oversight by the Engineering Team Director.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with other engineers to define, document, and refine electronic design elements to meet customer needs and functionalities.
· Collaborate with the Engineering team to implement new electronic designs and modify existing designs.
· Research, source, and select components needed for product development.
· Create and maintain bills of materials.
· Design circuit schematics and board layout and maintain electronic designs utilizing PADs Logic and PADs Layout
· Build and test prototype electrical designs, verifying functionality. Adjust designs as needed to meet functional requirements.
· Prepare and utilize engineering test reports to inform decisions.
· Assist in the creation of manufacturing test procedures.
· Provide technical support for legacy and new electronic systems.
· Work with the manufacturing team to introduce and support new electronic designs.
· Support the Service Department with installed electronic designs at facilities.
· Review drawings and confirm correctness of design and layout.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
· Bachelor or Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
· Proficient in electronic circuit schematic and board design
· Skilled at extracting information from technical documentation
· Proficient in the Microsoft office suite, specifically Excel, Word, and SharePoint
· Detail oriented and focused on quality control.
· Familiarity with AutoCAD, PADS Power PCB, and PADs Power Logic is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $31.00/hr.
