Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and test electrical systems and components across a variety of engineering projects. This role demands a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and embedded software development for 32-bit ARM processors. The successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills and thrive in a collaborative environment.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop electrical systems, circuits, and components for electronic module-level devices.Analyze system requirements and specifications to ensure electrical and embedded software solutions meet project goals.Create detailed technical drawings and schematics.Perform testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance on electrical systems and embedded software.Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.Participate in project planning, cost estimation, and timeline development.Stay up-to-date with advancements in electrical engineering technologies, embedded systems, and best practices.Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning of systems.Essential SkillsElectrical design, PCB design, schematic capture, PCB layout.Proficiency in CAD software (Altium preferred).5+ years of product experience with government, defense, aerospace, or consumer industrial products.Experience with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, connectivity, USB.Strong technical experience in hardware and embedded software.Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations (e.g., UL, IEEE).Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, power distribution, and embedded software development.Experience with testing and troubleshooting electrical components and embedded software.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical PCB design.Experience with C programming for embedded systems, including development for 32-bit ARM processors.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Work Environment
The work environment is located in downtown, fostering an entrepreneurial, creative, and startup-like atmosphere. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
