Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to design and develop hardware solutions and firmware for various microprocessors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PCB design and layout using Altium Designer, as well as experience in system integration and debugging. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product specifications and quality standards are met.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop hardware solutions and firmware for microprocessors.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product specifications and quality standards are met.Perform PCB design and layout using Altium Designer.Integrate systems and debug hardware solutions.Develop medical devices or regulated consumer electronics.Essential SkillsProficiency in Altium PCB Design.Programming experience in C/C++ and Python.Experience with hardware and firmware development.Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with ISO 9001 or IEC standards.Working knowledge of Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar prototyping platforms.Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated test frameworks.Experience developing medical devices or regulated consumer electronics.Work Environment
The engineering team consists of two contractors, two designers, and one administrative staff member. The employee will work independently, informally reporting to a supervisor who will approve their timecard. The role offers good benefits, unlimited PTO, and flexible start and end times for daily hours. The project involves conveyor systems designed to disinfect wheelchairs, and although the project is not highly technical, it requires precision and attention to detail.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $62.50/hr.
