Job Description
The role involves spearheading the design and development of advanced electrical systems while ensuring full compliance with safety regulations and performance benchmarks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate electrical components across diverse platforms, optimizing overall system functionality.
ResponsibilitiesLead efforts in analyzing, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems to drive improvements in reliability and operational efficiency.Design and deploy control algorithms and tailored systems that address specific operational requirements.Leverage simulation tools, modeling techniques, and analytical methods to evaluate and enhance system performance.Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers to procure high-quality electrical components aligned with project objectives.Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in electrical engineering best practices across the project team.Produce clear, detailed technical documentation to support project transparency and adherence to defined parameters.Continuously monitor and incorporate emerging trends and innovations in electrical engineering and related technologies.Essential SkillsProficiency in power systems, CAD tools, simulation software, and circuit design.Expertise in electrical engineering principles, control systems, and harmonic distortion.Seven years of experience in relevant disciplines.Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.Ability to obtain or currently possess a security clearance.Prior Department of Defense (DoD) experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience mentoring junior engineers.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and documentation abilities.Work Environment
The position is on-site with working hours from 8 am to 4 pm. The dress code is casual, allowing for jeans and polo shirts. The work environment is mission-focused, promoting a collaborative and supportive atmosphere with growth opportunities and involvement in a variety of ongoing projects.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $175000.00/yr.
