Electrical Engineer

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and driven Electrical Engineer to support the design and implementation of electrical power systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities. What You’ll DoDesign and develop electrical power systems for municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities.Perform load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and short circuit current evaluations.Create detailed conduit routing, motor control center (MCC), and switchgear designs.Prepare technical specifications, cost estimates, and construction documentation.Conduct field investigations, support start-up and commissioning, and ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 820, NESC, and IEEE standards.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and interface directly with clients.Key Focus AreasPower system design for municipal water and wastewater treatment.Application of IEEE Color Books, NEC, and NFPA standards.Field startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting.Specification development and construction support.What You BringBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).6–12 years of experience in electrical design for infrastructure projects.PE license (required).Proficiency in power system analysis, including harmonic distortion, power factor, and reactive power.Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 820, NESC, and IEEE 80/485.Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.Preferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in Electrical Engineering.Experience with municipal water reuse and wastewater treatment systems.Familiarity with control schematics, electrical utilities, and cost estimating.Top SkillsElectrical Engineering | Power System Design | Professional Engineer (PE)Site Investigation | Project Management | NEC & IEEE Standards

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $145000.00/yr.

We will include standard holidays & 10 PTO days (negotiable)
