Job Description
The Electromechanical Engineer will perform all aspects of electronic and optical system design and integration into mechanical systems from the initial feasibility stage to manufacturing release for endoscopic devices and equipment. This position requires a high level of technical skill in schematic design, integration, analysis, debug, and PCB layout. The engineer will lead small-scale development efforts, including planning, scheduling, and documentation required for design control. Additionally, the role involves providing SME support for new product introduction and existing product lines, designing experiments, and writing technical reports.
ResponsibilitiesPerform electronic and optical system design and integration into mechanical systems.Lead small-scale development efforts, including planning, scheduling, and documentation for design control.Provide subject matter expert support for new product introduction and existing product lines.Design experiments and write technical reports.Develop electrical systems for endoscopic imaging systems and peripheral systems.Design and layout printed circuit boards (PCBs).Evaluate and optimize data transmission through RF signals over coaxial cabling.Ensure adherence to stringent medical device quality systems through verification, documentation, and risk management.Collaborate closely with mechanical and software engineers in the design and validation of electromechanical systems.Essential SkillsMedical device engineering experience.Expertise in electrical and mechanical engineering.Proficiency in PCB layout and electrical design.Ability to perform schematic design.Experience in developing electrical systems for endoscopic imaging.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in rigorous verification and regulatory compliance.Familiarity with IEC standards.Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
